| my marriage Submitted By: monica | My husband, Mike is having an affair with his assistant at work, he says it is just an emotional affair but that he loves her. We have been married for 31 years, the girl is only 32 years old and my husband is 52. We went to one counseling session with a Christian counselor who told my husband that he needed to make a decision before she could counsel us together. So now I am living in limbo and torment as he lives with me, works all day with her and is trying to choose between his wife of 31 years and a 32 year old who he has only been involved with for 3 to 4 months I feel like my life is falling apart and my heart is broken. My husband is blinded by his sin, because last night when I asked him if he thought God would want him to destroy two marriages, he said that he did not want to be right. In my heart I believe that he has already made a decision to go with her, but I know that God can do anything and God can change his heart.
